It’s the case that holds everything from tools and gaffer’s tape to safety gear, a change of clothes, first aid kits, a printer, a coffee maker, guitar strings, lighting gels and led screens. The workbox is the key to organizing and being prepared as well as ensuring that the tools and equipment are returned when packing up. Workboxes are often referred to as production cases, tech boxes, tool boxes, carpenter’s cases, and office cases. Jan-Al morphs simple drawer cases into traveling offices, composer stations, avid programming cases, and guitar tuning stations. There are many standard designs and those can also be used as a starting point for customization.

We break them into basic categories by profession because of the common tools and equipment. The cases themselves come with a single lid, or doubles with drawers on two sides. Pop-top lids for printers and other equipment that requires access for worktop space can be added. We can add coffee makers or hanger bars to make condos (a mini wardrobe), safes, movable partitions, padlocks and more.
